Bread Pudding
10 slices French bread loaf 1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar 4 egg yolks
8 oz. evaporated milk 1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups milk  

Slice bread loaf into 1/4" slices and place in baking pan.  Place bread slices in the oven for a short time to dry.  Separately mix sugar, vanilla, yolks and butter.  Pour over bread slices.  Bake at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes.
